Kiev Borispol Airport, Terminal D

Borispol Airport Terminal D is now the largest air terminal in Ukraine.

Our role in this project was to design and build structured cabling system and digital video surveillance system for baggage system: bag check in, processing, transporting, sorting, loading, unloading, claim and main hub. The General Сontractor for the project was Dogus Insaat (Turkey), the baggage system contractor was Vanderlande Industries (Netherlands), and Technical Supervisor was JAC Engineering (Japan).

 

 

The project was complicated by a very short term of completion (the deadline date was just before opening of Euro 2012 Football Championship), by extraordinary length of the building (more than 900 m) and by the requirements of the Customer, General Contractor and Technical Supervisor to design documentation due to extensive procedure of commissioning.

 

 

Cooperation with Vanderlande was an exceptional experience, because the company is a leading global supplier of baggage processing infrastructures to main airports of the world including London Heathrow, Amsterdam Schiphol, Moscow Sheremetyevo, Moscow Domodedovo, Moscow Vnukovo, St Petersburg Pulkovo, Barcelona el Prat, Paris Charles De Gaulle.

Our company has successfully completed a full system design and installation and later made a system extension to a newly built Domestic Flight facility.
